7th Labour of Hercules: The Cretan Bull

The next Labour was to catch the Cretan Bull and show him to Eurystheus. The Cretan Bull later fell in love with Pasiphae (after a curse from Poseidon), giving birth to the Minotaur. When Hercules learn about the task, he sailed to Crete and met the King  Minos. Minus didn't like Cretan Bull because he was wreaking havoc on Crete by uprooting crops and leveling orchard walls. Thus, he gave Hercules permission to take the bull away. Hercules snuck up behind the bull and then used his hands to strangle it, and then shipped it to Eurystheus.

Eurystheus initially wanted to sacrifice the bull to Hera. However, she refused the sacrifice because it reflected glory on Hercules. Eventually, the bull was released and wandered into Marathon, becoming known as the Marathonian Bull. Theseus would later sacrifice the bull to Athena and/or Apollo.

Next task assigned from Eurystheus for Hercules, was to steal the man-eating Mares of Diomedes.
